Recently, Pioneer Electronics announced it was adding new components to its Pioneer Elite AV receiver line this summer. The system is already equipped to interact with various digital home media outlets and Internet and also serves as a hub for home audio and video needs. The new receivers are set to support Apple AirPlay and DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance, a content-sharing program for home networks). This means home users will be able to transfer media from computers and mobile devices right onto their home entertainment systems!
“By expanding on networked features such as AirPlay and DLNA, and combining them with exclusive control functions such as iControlAV2 and Air Jam, Pioneer’s new line of Elite receivers is making it easy for consumers to integrate their portable devices while still providing them with superior audio and video performance they expect from our brand,” said Pioneer Electronic USA’s director of AV marketing Chris Walker, in a statement.
The five new receivers include the VSX-40, VSX-50, VSX-51, VSX-52 and VSX-53 and are compatible with iPad, iPhone and iPod. They’re also equipped with seven-channel audio and a USB/video cable, as well as HDMI input and output and 3D and ARC support. Call Tha Media Room today and get ready to crank it up!
