Biggest Misconception

The biggest misconception with home theater is when someone hears "Home Theater System" the average person thinks thousands upon thousands of dollars. The truth is home theater has so many options and levels. Back in the day I too would automatically think of the rooms I would see on MTV's Cribs. Although these home theater rooms would be very nice to have they are certainly not the norm. If you can afford to go from nothing to a complete system then I certainly say go for it but you do not have to. The first step is all about the tv. This is the biggest change you can make to start the home theater process. Already have a flat panel in your living room? Just add a surround sound system. I love surround systems!! Just get ready though because you are going to want a surround system hooked up to every tv in your home. The point here is that you can add a piece at a time. Go get yourself a Blu Ray player. Enjoy it for a couple months then add another piece. Before long you have a complete home theater system!! I will be back next time to discuss the world of flat panels.
